This is my entry to the "1bit" game jam of November 2023.
Survive The Show is a 2d black and white survival crafty horror game.
You were sent on an empty piece of land with just a few resources and weapons.
Waves of zombies will try to eat you at night and you need to survive a full week to escape this place.
Oh, I forgot to say, this is a reality show!

Use the left mouse button to move.

You have several items that you can use with " WASD". A rifle, an axe a bow and a wood log, use the right click button to use them when equipped.

The rifle will shoot bullets to kill zombies but you don't have a lot of bullets so be wise.
The Bow is like the rifle but less fast, the good thing is, you can craft more arrows using wood log on the crafting table.

The axe allows you to chop pine trees to get more wood, to chop your own wood wall if you want to remove them and get back the wood from them ( but if the wood wall is damaged you'll get less ) and you can even kill zombies with it.

The wood log let you build more wood walls as long as you have enough wood.

The game lasts 7 days and 7 nights, if you are still alive at the end of the last night you won!

Each day, a couple of wild boars will appear as well as a crate with items inside.
Each night, a wave of zombies will spawn and try to take you down.

You have health, that you lose when zombies hit you but you can eat wild boars to refill it ( just collide with them ).

You have energy, that you lose over time, you need to sleep to refill it. The less energy you have, the slower you'll move so be careful.

To sleep, you need to move to the bed and right click on it, you'll " lay down " and won't be able to shoot or move, to stop sleeping just left click somewhere else.

Your fire will give you light at night time, it also reduces over time so drop some wood log on it to bring it back to life at night!

Good luck!

fun game, just which movement wasn't connected to the mouse. I played this on a Chromebook, so it's hard to consistently do a right click.

Thanks for the feedback :) yes, the controls really need to be reworked 😅
